Not seeing any of my notifications. I'll survive but that's gonna be annoying for however long it lasts.

No way! Stock one goes in that wheel well also and is nowhere near that size. Want a picture of it? =P

the power steering pump wasn't receiving enough airflow, so the solution was to lower the cooler (gt4) as much as possible. This was a temporary fix for the owner and I'm pretty sure it didn't completely work out either.

they're never going to get the power steering fluid to stop boiling and flying out the reservoir if that's what they're after. One theory is to replace the reservoir itself with a higher capacity aluminum version that also adds a little cooling capacity.
This car appears to be used a bit harder than mine. You know what I do with my power steering fluid? I put a tennis wristband over the reservoir to absorb the fluid and I just let it boil lol. It hasn't been reduced to an insufficient level and I just have BMW check it and top it up periodically. Pump has been fine so far. Interestingly, last event I also boiled my windshield washer fluid and I found a bunch of it cooked on my headers and valve cover. Fun times!
That gt4 cooler is serious. And I'm drooling over those brake ducts but I haven't decided what I'm doing with my car yet. If I decide to build a spec E46 I can finally stop worrying about the expensive cooling upgrades I should be doing to my E90...

You know oddly enough that isn't the first time I heard someone use that as a solution, and it seems to work pretty well as long as you stay on top of monitoring it, and it sure seems like you do.
That's such an awesome problem to have, but at the same time it's a tough one. Putting money into the E90 will be awesome of course and yield some great results, but on the other hand you can save up all that money and build a lethal E46 (or E36 for cheaper) which may end up being the better move, especially if you daily the E90.
